Booking is simple! If you’re looking for a caricature artist in the DMV, just call or text us at 571-320-3574, or email info@drawingmonos.com. Share your event details (date, location, and type of caricature service), and we’ll send you a booking agreement. Once approved with a deposit, your event is secured.

How far in advance should I schedule a caricature artist?

We always recommend booking as early as you can, especially for weekends and holidays.

Are the caricatures in black and white or color?

Our traditional caricature sketches can be done in black and white or color.

Most clients choose black and white because it allows us to draw more guests during the event.

Digital caricatures are always created in color.

How many drawings can an artist complete per hour?

On average, a live caricature artist for a party can draw:

• 12–14 faces per hour in black and white

• 7–8 faces per hour in color

This may vary slightly depending on the level of detail and guest flow.

What size are the caricatures?

Our traditional caricature sketches are created on 11” x 15” paper, while our doodle booth caricatures and digital caricatures are made on 4” x 6” paper.

Do you create caricatures for dog events

Absolutely! We can create dog caricatures, cat caricatures and we can include your self in the picture if you want to. These are perfect as a themed event or gifts.

Do you offer digital caricatures?

Yes! In addition to traditional drawings, we offer services from a digital caricature artist, where portraits are created on a tablet and printed on-site.

This is a great option for modern events and clients looking for a polished, full-color finish.

What’s the difference between traditional and digital caricatures?

Traditional caricatures are hand-drawn on paper using markers.

Digital caricatures are created by a digital caricature artist on a tablet and printed instantly, offering a clean and modern look.

Can you provide multiple artists for larger events?

Yes, we can provide multiple artists depending on the size of your event.

This is especially helpful for larger parties, corporate events, or weddings with many guests.

Can you add logos or custom text to the drawings?

Yes! We offer pre-printed paper with logos, names, or event details, ideal for corporate branding or special celebrations like weddings.

Is there a minimum booking time?

Yes, we require a minimum of 2 hours per artist for all events.

Can the artist stay longer if needed?

If the artist is available, they can stay longer.

Overtime is billed hourly and must be paid on the same day.
